The Children & Nature Network summit is in Oakland, California this year and is sure to be a successful gathering of professionals from around the world committed to connecting kids to nature. I am honored to be part of the Greening of Schoolyards working group. I will be attending with the goal of learning from other professionals in the field and communities who have taken steps to green their school grounds. As we start to move Clark County schools towards greener and more inviting campuses, there is lots to learn but also lots of opportunities to get projects in the ground. I look forward to reporting back on what we learned.
