I am so grateful to have had the opportunity to support both the Evergreen School District and Vancouver Public School designs teams with two of the schools recognized in this 2020 project highlights.
For Evergreen Schools, I had the pleasure to support project review and playground designs for the new Emerald ES. The nature play area is a hit and the great designs by NW Playgrounds, Shapiro-Didway and the LSW teams hit a home run.
For the Vancouver Schools, King ES has a special place for me. It preserved some great trees, added lots of unique gardens and features. But super excited for the level of inclusive play, learning and wellness features throughout the campus. Great job to the LSW, HHPR, Shapiro-Didway and NW Playgrounds for another exciting project.
